Sheila Charles WHO DONE IT
I am watching a thriller on the T.V.
The title of it is The Bay.
It is set in Lancashire
Where I hail from, by the way.
I love hearing my own accent
And seeing the places I know.
I thought there were only three episodes
When I decided to give it a go!
Then I found out later it was SIX.
But I’d stared watching it by then.
It isn’t on too late in the evening.
It finishes way before ten!
But already I am confused about
Who is who, I have to admit.
There are too many folk who look similar
Taking part in it!
I also find it hard to recall
What happened the week before.
I am even starting to wonder
Whether to watch it any more!
You see I’ve only recently stopped watching
About thirty DVDs
About Agatha Christie’s detective
Hercule Poirot. Now that was a breeze.
Because Hercule Poirot sums everything up
At the end of each episode, yes.
He tells us who did what and why
So we don’t have to hazard a guess.
How I wish this could happen
At the end of each episode, yes.
He tells us who did what and why
So we don’t have to hazard a guess.
How I wish this could happen
At the end of each T.V. thriller.
A detective could clearly state
Who was the victim and who was the killer.
And why the killer did what he did.
Now wouldn’t that be just great?
Also could thrillers always start
Early evening-say half past eight?
(Which reminds me, why is Coronation Street
On so incredibly late?)
